The pictures of the Night Sky on September 18, 2005. This is the Northern sky as seen from my deck. You can see the Little Dipper upper-right of center.
I set the camera up on an Alt-Azimuth mount, and let the exposure cook for 30 seconds. I then used Registax to bump down the brightness and the contrast, and then bumped up the detail.
I posted two pictures, before and after, to show the differences in adjusting the picture.
