Description

Here is the Flight Log from Sunday, December 10, 2006.

Stinson Voyager

Using a winder to wind up the motor, I proceeded to launch into the wind. The plane immediately started to oscillate up and down, and then finally landed after about 5 seconds.

After a few more attempts, one resulting in an immediate pitch straight up, then a full power dive straight into the ground, some damage was noted, and other flight attempts were abandoned.

The damage was the tail wheel was missing, one of the landing struts was gone, and the windshield separated from the fuselage.

P-40 Warhawk

The 'flight' only lasted about 2 seconds, with an immediate twist to the left and a dive into the ground, destroying everything from the cockpit foward.
